Emily Kobes is a Baltimore-based oil painter and illustrator specializing in the strange and fantastic. She is currently receiving their BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art and has received multiple awards for academic and artistic achievement, including the Creative Vision Award, Don F. Turano ‘59 Scholarship, and Academic Excellence Scholarship. Her work has been featured by the Adytum Collective as well in multiple MICA exhibitions.
